Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven New Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within the Midlands region. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in corrugated packaging sales and a passion for delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the Midlands region, focusing on sectors such as food and drink, fresh produce, household goods, and industrial products.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their packaging requirements and propose bespoke solutions that align with their objectives.

  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure client specifications are met with precision and efficiency.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's offerings and expand the client base.

  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales within the corrugated packaging industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

  • Strong understanding of packaging solutions, materials, and manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Midlands region.
